Gun violence can end up in the hospital or the grave. Guns are now a right in the United States—a right almost without limits.
The right to bear arms for a few results in costs for all. These costs include health care for those injured, disability from injuries, and security for public places. These costs place a tax burden on everyone.
Gun owners could pay these costs through liability insurance and relieve the tax burden.
Insurance companies could do background checks. They could charge less for hunting rifles and more for high capacity magazines and assualt rifles, if they insure them at all. As actions of the Federal Government, measures like these have been blocked. As actions of multiple insurance companies in the marketplace, measures like these could move forward.
Americans have rights but pay their way!
